Hello! I’m Dr. Rabia Qureshi!
Hi, I’m Dr. Rabia Qureshi — a double board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine with over 13 years of experience in both hospital and outpatient settings.
Before launching Peach Blossom Direct Primary Care, I worked at ChristianaCare — first as a hospitalist caring for acutely ill patients, then for nearly seven years as a primary care physician. During that time, I developed strong, lasting relationships with my patients and gained deep experience managing complex medical conditions.
While I valued that work, I wanted something more — more time with patients, more meaningful connection, and more responsibility in their care. That desire inspired me to take a leap of faith and open my own practice.
I’m originally from Philadelphia, but after completing my training and getting married, my husband and I moved to Delaware in 2015. It’s where we’ve planted roots, are raising our three wonderful kids, and built a life full of family, friendship, and community.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, cooking, doing DIY projects, and planning and hosting parties and events. These moments keep me grounded and fuel my creativity — both at home and in my work.
Above all, I am passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and building lasting relationships with those I serve. If I had to sum myself up in one word, it would be relatable. I know what it’s like to navigate health challenges — and I’m here to support my patients with empathy, trust, and care that truly feels personal.
